What is Memories?

What is Memories? Before answering that question please allow me for a quick rant session…real quick, I promise.

When I get an inquiry from the couple 90% of the time it ends with this question…”Do you do complimentary pre-wedding photoshoot?” This question makes me take a deep breath before I can proceed to answer it. I can understand where this question arises…no surprise, it’s from fellow photography companies, Mostly the ones you see at Besant Nagar beach holding huge lights, making the couple do all kinds of stunts. Whenever I see this happening I couldn’t help but smirk. Because I used to do that too.

At the end of the session the couple are going to get some pretty pictures, yes. But that’s all it will ever be, some pretty pictures to scroll across in their phone gallery. Honestly, some couples go through this even with their already jam packed pre wedding prep just because the service is offered as complimentary along with the quotation provided by the photography companies.

With that my rant has come to an end…as promised, it was a quick one, right? But I know there are very few exceptions to this cliche approach, I appreciate and take inspiration from their works.

Now, to answer the question…

Memories is a stand alone photography and/or film service offered by Alaigal. Firstly, Memories does not correlate with the wedding ceremony, instead it deeply connects with, as the name suggests, Memories.

Unlike pre/post wedding sessions, Memories gives you freedom to pick a time and date which doesn’t have to be right before or after the wedding. It can be the very next day you get “Yes” for your proposal from your partner, it can be for your 5th or even 10th anniversary, it can even be with your partner who is furry, fluffy and hops on four legs. So you pick the time, date and especially the memory you want to preserve for life and Alaigal will make it happen.

What type of Memory would be appropriate for photography? It can literally be any memory which makes you smile every time you think about it. It can be the memory of seeing each other for the first time, memory of the best date you ever had or a simple memory like cooking together, even a morning coffee routine…you pick the memory which you cherish the most and let’s preserve it for life.
